The former Brad Jones Racing identity retired from fulltime V8 Supercar racing at the end of the 2009 series, choosing to focus on his work within the Jax Quickfit Tyre store he has opened in Moorabin. However he plans to maintain his involvement in the sport after securing a seat in this year’s endurance races with the powerful Holden outfit, Walkinshaw Racing.

McConville co-drove to a 2nd place finish at last year’s Bathurst 1000 and is doing all he can to ensure he is again amongst the front runners for this year’s race. With rules limiting the amount of track time endurance drivers can obtain throughout the year, McConville decided the best way to prepare was by getting back behind the wheel of a kart - and his kart of choice was Australia’s premier racing kart, an Arrow Racing Kart.

Clayton (Melbourne) Arrow dealer DP Karts ensured McConville has the very best in the latest Karting equipment, with the multiple Australian championship winning Arrow X1 now safely in the hands of the Walkinshaw Racing endurance driver.

Arrow Karts wishes Cameron all the best for his racing throughout the 2010 season and we are thankful for the efforts put into the promotion of the sport of Karting.
