Howards Equipment Racing Departs Superkarts
After five years as a staple addition to the Victorian superkart circuit, Howards Equipment Racing has decided to leave the sport.
Peter Howard's company had provided fully funded sponsorships for up to six drivers over the past five years, claiming numerous state and club titles and presenting one of the the most professional outfits in the Rotax class.
However, it now appears that the 'Yellow Sharks' will never again circulate under the Howards Equipment banner.
Howard has not been impressed with aspects of the Victorian Superkart Club's administration after an episode where his signage was defaced from club flags.
Howards Equipment informed KartSportNews that they will maintain all sponsorship commitments with individuals that are currently in place for 2010, such as the Junior Superkart Championship, but has withdrawn all club targeted sponsorship pledges effective immediately.
