Time To Get Out Of The Winter Chill

AKA press release

If the winter blues are getting you down, there’s a good way to fix it – head to the Northern Territory State Championships to be held in Darwin later this month (June 26/27).

Temperatures in the mid thirties, a friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to gain valuable track time before the venue hosts the 2012 National Championships are just three of many reasons to visit the Top End for the championships.

With the championships becoming one of the most enjoyable blue ribbon events on the Australian Karting calendar many of the country’s top drivers are expected to travel to Darwin later this month.

“Over the past few years the Northern Territory Championships have developed from an outback title into a fully blown championship which is respected across the country,” said Darwin Kart Club President Greg Meyer.

“This year is really the start of our build up to the 2012 Nationals, we’ve already started work on improving the facilities which will make the Hidden Valley track one of the best equipped on the country.

“I look forward to seeing many interstate competitors at this year’s championships and I’m sure they’ll go away with some great memories of the region.”

Competitors looking to enter the Northern Territory Championships have until THIS Friday June 4 to get their entries in.

The supplementary regulations can be found via the KartSportNews Race Calendar page.
