KartSport New Zealand has chosen the MG AZ tyre as the control dry tyre for tyre restricted classes (ref Rule L3.5.a) for the next contract period, 1 Jan 2011 to 31 Dec 2013.

Test Tyre Pressures: The test pressures used for KartSport New Zealand tyre testing were (cold): Front 13 psi, Rear 13 psi.
Other: The MG AZ has been a control tyre in Australia for the past 11 years. Recently it was reconfirmed as the AKA control tyre for Junior Clubman, all Senior Clubman, Formula Australia, Restricted 125, TaG 125 and Sportsman classes until 2013.
