Arrow Does The Job At Horsepower Heaven

press release

The fourth round of the Horsepower Heaven series was held on Saturday 24th July at VACC Park Port Melbourne. Arrow Racing Karts driver David Sera put in a dominant performance in the highly competitive KZ2 Shifter class, competing against a star studded field which included all five of the current top point earners from the CIK Stars of Karting Series; Kel Treseder, Matthew Wall, Troy Woolston, Chris Hays and Jason Pringle.

In only his second Shifter event, Sera showed from the outset that his Arrow X1 would lead the way, qualifying on pole position over Woolston, Wall and Pringle. In the two heat races Sera showed superior speed to his fellow competitors setting the fastest lap in both heat races and placed himself on the second row of the grid for the pre final.

As light rain descended on the circuit before the start of the pre final it was the Arrow X1 Shifter that prevailed in difficult conditions. Sera made a good start on the slippery track and after dicing for the lead in the early laps the Arrow pilot cleared out from the field to win the 16 lap pre final by over three seconds.

Sera didn’t get the start he had hoped for in the final as he slipped back to fourth position, though the Arrow X1 driver bided his time until the half way point of the 20 lap final to pass for the lead. Once in front the win never looked in doubt as the Arrow X1 Shifter put down consistent lap times to drive away for a comfortable victory over a well known field of experienced shifter kart drivers.

In a pleasing performance Arrow again did the job, proving the Australian made kart continues to set the benchmark in Australian karting at all levels.

Arrow Racing Karts would like to thank all who contributed to the fantastic results and express our gratitude and appreciation to all who continue to support our products.
