Arrow Conquers DD2 At Rotax Nationals

press release

Arrow continued their domination of the DD2 class at the recent Sparco Rotax Nationals that were held on the 3rd/4th of September at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich. Arrow Racing Karts drivers collected four of the five podium positions on offer in treacherous conditions.

Young Queenslander Damian Ward came out on top in the 20 lap final to add another major victory to his increasing trophy cabinet. Ward now gets the opportunity to represent his country at the Rotax World Finals in Italy later this year. Chasing Ward the whole way was David Whitmore from New South Wales who put in a strong showing all weekend to consistently be on the leader’s tails and grab a well earned second position. Whitmore will also join Ward in Italy as both drivers collected the highest points in their Arrow DD2 karts throughout the year. Just missing out on last step of the podium was Troy Prendergast and last year’s winner Brinley Gread.

Arrow Racing Karts would like to congratulate all who contributed to the fantastic results at the 2010 Sparco Rotax National Championships. We would also like to thank Bel-Ray Lubricants for their continued support of Arrow Racing Karts as we continue with our promising 2010 racing season.
