The Nepean Nationals On This Weekend

This Sunday September 26 at the Nepean Motorsport complex, the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club will be conducting the 6th annual 'Nepean Nationals'.
The event this year is being proudly sponsored by “ Wescranes“ and the club is honoured to have both the Wescranes organisation and Mr Graham Hart as partners in our 20th anniversary season.
Racing on the day along with the other 70+ drivers will be the Wescranes speedway kart team of Michael Jordan, Chelsey Smith and Ashley Smith, as they all attempt to claim success at the Nationals.

Well the season has flown past and this weekend will be round 7 of the 2010 Championship and with only one round left in November points to the championship chase are crucial as drivers strive to be crowned the class champions for 2010 at the gala end of season presentation dinner in December .
Each year these glory bound rounds always provide great racing and with the superbly prepared Nepean circuit ready to go there is no doubt that this weekend will see more of the fantastic wheel to wheel speedway action seen this season .
Also on the day the club will be presenting its Junior Sedan prize to one lucky junior driver . The contestants have been racing over the last 5 rounds in a separate points score to win the right to represent the club in the upcoming speedway season by winning the club’s Junior Sedan.
The executive are very please with the young person who has won the prize this year and has the utmost confidence that they will present themselves and the club proudly to the general speedway public when ever they compete.
The winner will be revealed at the end of day presentation on Sunday .
The club is very confident that this will be a well supported meeting following the very successful Brian Linigen Show and Shine day held last weekend at which the club was present with a static display . We handed out over 200 flyers promoting this weekend and many people indicated their intent to come
We have full canteen facilities to cater for your needs , so if you have a few spare hours on Sunday and want a speedway fix , why not come out to the Nepean motorsport complex on Rickards Roads Castlereagh and have a look a speedway’s future stars tearing up the dirt .
Racing starts at 10am and the 28 events are scheduled to finish about 3pm. Entry is $5 per adult. The weather prediction is for a fine day , so come out and enjoy a Fun day Sunday watching great speedway action , you wont be disappointed .
