Shute Gets The Car

Four years ago, the NSW Speedway Kart Club purchased a Junior Speedway Sedan. The kart club saw this as a way of giving young drivers the opportunity to get a start in a car-based speedway career.

Drivers from the junior karting classes could then nominate to be part of the points score for the prize, which was conducted over rounds 2 to 6.

At the 6th annual Wescranes Nepean Nationals on Sunday, the car was awarded to a very popular winner: Amy Shute.

During the coming summer season, Amy will represent herself and the NSW Speedway Kart Club at various tracks around the state competiting  with the Junior Sedan Club.
