Superkarts Australia Bulletin

Dear Members,

The Australian National Titles have now been run and won for this year. For the entrants and crews, I thank you for making this year a memorable one, the final results coming down to the last race, shows how competitive this series is. We all cannot thank Rockpress, Dunlop, and The Shannons Nationals enough for the support shown. The Morgan Park Dinner a highlight for many. The highlights were, for me, the awards given to Brian and Vivian Stockman, Dave and Barbara Hepworth, Paul Stebbing and Drene Jamieson. To see the many crews and families in the one venue was great to see. Rockpress, Supercheap, IKD and Zahl1 racing all provided prizes and made the night fun for us all.

We now look to next year as how to copy all the elements that worked for us in this years competition, at Phillip Island and Morgan Park. The introduction of new Directors, being Tony Lappas, Dave McAdam and Mark Hanson, will give SKA greater scope to bring better National meetings to our members next year. Surveys have been collected and will be discussed at our AGM on the 8th of October. This will give an indication of which tracks, how many rounds and the type of schedule we will be able to offer. SKA have some projects in the planning stage and will be announced as time draws closer. The SKA Rotax Challenge is the next and last event this year for us and if you would like to participate, you can find the entry forms on our website. It will be a fun Race day and great prizes are on offer. Please check it out and support the event.

Thank you to all of the Directors of SKA and its members and supporters this year. It has been a wonderful year and we look toward next year to serve you.

See you on Race day,

Clint Brown
