Canberra Track 'Unavailable' For A Few Days

Canberra's Fairbairn Park kart circuit will be unavailable for practice from this Friday October 15 to Monday October 18. This is due to the club hiring the circuit to a non-AKA organisation for the running of the NKA ACT State Titles.

"The Canberra Kart Racing Club's affiliation with the A.K.A. is suspended until the 19th October 2010, when the affiliation will be reinstated, as per State Policy" the club advised KartSportNews. (Questions regarding this can be directed to Tony Prendergast 0412 500 621, or Bruce Otter 0439 881 152)

The NKA (prokart) ACT State Titles will be held at the venue on Saturday, October 16. The NKA visited Canberra last year for the final round of their Super Series.

After the success of the event in Newcastle recently, the NKA will once again offer a free day licence to any current AKA licence holder. NKA/Prokart Licences will also be available for those who do not have a current NKA or AKA licence.

Further information available from ProKart by email andrew_goldkart6@hotmail.com or phone 0413682923.

All finals for this event on Saturday will be live online by racer tv. To view the ACT titles at approx 2pm Saturday go to www.prokart.com.au website and view endurance racing link, you will find live action there.
