Vale: Raymond Hart

New Zealand karting legend Ray Hart passed away on Monday after a long fight with cancer. A multiple NZ champion, Hart also raced on the international scene and was a regular visitor to Australia. He won the 1986 'Castrol' at Oran Park driving a kart of his own design and manufacture, the Kiwi Kart. In fact, Hart and his team mate blitzed the Aussies in the Clubman class that day!
