ProKart Nationals Competitors All Revved Up

It’s without a doubt one of the biggest events of the year at the Wollongong City Raceway track - near Kembla Grange on the South Coast of NSW; the highly anticipated 2010 ProKart Nationals is set to be fought out this weekend (November 27 and 28).

With in excess of 150 entries across all classes, which are to include a number of interstate entrants, the ProKart Nationals promises to be one of the most spectacular and hard fought events from the beginning of the weekend right through to the end.

In an event that promises to finish out the year in spectacular fashion, the ProKart Nationals is going to see both Junior and Senior classes battle it out over practice and qualifying sessions, followed by three qualifying heat races, pre finals and finals.

Senior classes that make up the ProKart Nationals include: TAG Heavy, TAG Light, TAG Restricted, TAG Super Heavy, Open Performance, 100cc Performance, Clubman Super Heavy, Senior National and both Clubman Light and Heavy; along with the Junior classes that are to consist of Midgets, Rookies, Junior Performance and Junior National.

Saturday will see Midget, Rookies, Junior Nationals, Senior Nationals, TAG Over 50’s, TAG Super Heavy, Clubman Heavy and Clubman Super Heavy classes running, while Sunday will see Clubman Light, 100cc Performance, TAG Restricted, TAG Light, TAG Heavy, Open Performance, Junior Performance and Junior Clubman classes are set to take to the track on the Sunday.

The ProKart Nationals is scheduled to blast into action from 9am on both Saturday and Sunday.

Wollongong City Raceway is located on the corner of West Dapto Road and the Princes Highway in Kembla Grange on the South Coast of NSW.
