Arrow Continue Hot Streak On World Stage

press release

Kiwi driver Matthew Hamilton claimed the All Japan Yamaha Challenge held in Tsumagoi, Japan on the 6th and 7th of November aboard his Arrow X1-28C chassis.

It was the Christchurch drivers second time at the prestigious International event where past winners include the late Ayrton Senna, Giancarlo Fisichella and Jarno Trulli. Hamilton etched his name alongside some of the modern day greats. After putting his Arrow kart on pole position in qualifying, he went on to win the feature race on Sunday afternoon.

On the other side of the world, Arrow scored a double podium at the SKUSA Super Nationals on the 17th to 21st of November in Las Vegas. Factory Arrow Driver David Sera finished second in the TaG Senior class by an incredible 0.001s after starting the final in 29th position. Sera’s teammate for the event was former Indy 500 winner and runner up in this year’s race Dan Wheldon, who finished inside the top ten in his comeback race.

Local Texan driver Austin Self was amongst the front runners all weekend in TaG Junior, ultimately finishing in third place. Joseph Mawson was also competing against Self in TaG Junior, where he qualified on the front row. He lead the majority of the race before relinquishing the lead in the latter part of the final with a mechanical issue that forced him back to fifth position.
