Arrow Rewards Formula Ford Test Day

On Friday the 10th of December, five of Australia’s brightest young talents converged at Winton Raceway to take part in the Arrow Rewards Program, hosted by Mygale Australia importer Greg Woodrow in association with Arrow Racing Karts.
Together with the help of leading Australian Formula Ford teams: Evans Motorsport Group, Minda Motorsport, Sonic Motor Racing Services and Team BRM, the five Arrow Drivers; Joseph Mawson (NSW), Todd Hazelwood (SA), Brad Jenner (VIC), Jake Spencer (VIC) and Callan Sayers (QLD) got the chance of a lifetime when they were given a full days test drive in the latest Mygale Formula Fords.

With the experience of some of the most well-known race engineers in the business, all drivers progressed immensely throughout the day, with most having never driven a manual vehicle before in their lives let alone a race car.
‘Without a doubt this is one of the highlights of my career! I can’t thank Arrow Karts, Greg Woodrow from Mygale and Team BRM for this awesome experience’ Todd Hazelwood said.
‘I feel like the next progression after racing karts is to make the leap into Formula Ford, and what better way to start my transition then to work with the most successful Formula Ford cars in the world. Mygale are the benchmark in FF and it was great to work with and learn from Michael Ritter and his team' Brad Jenner was quoted as saying.

Following this test day, Mygale importer Greg Woodrow will chose one lucky Arrow driver who will be given the chance to compete in another full test day with Mygale as well as a chance of a fully funded race in a Mygale Formula Ford in a Victorian State Series Round in 2011.
Many karters aspire to other forms of motor racing and Formula Ford is regarded as the next step.
