Above: Sunday's Rotax Light Pre-Final was run on a wet, but drying, track. If the meeting stayed wet, it could have proven to be an even more pivotal race. David Sera quickly etched out a lead and (along with a couple of others) regularly sought out the puddles to cool his tyres, keeping the soft Mojo rubber in pretty good shape in the event it was needed again.

Above: David "Buzzard" Aldersley has been out of karting for some time and has been off racing Sprintcars. He decided to have a run in the Rotax Nationals, and ended up taking the win in Super Heavy, clean-sweeping the weekend. He was lucky not to be black-flagged in the final when the rear crash bar came lose.
