Cooloola Back On Track

Dale Coomber has supplied us with the photos below of the Cooloola kart circuit now that the flood waters have subsided.

"The track by appearance looks good, but we don’t know what has happened underneath" he informed KartSportNews

The club is set to meet with an engineer, Noel Covey, today for an assessment and suggestions on what should happen next.

"The water that came onto the track was very slow moving back up from a creek beside the track" Coomber explained. "So the problem wasn’t a rushing river going over the surface, but water sitting on the track for a couple of days.  It was so slow the woodchip is even still all in place. We will need to replace about 200 collapsed hay bales though."
