King of KZ2 Series
Victorian gearbox karters Jordie Lindstrom, Matthew Wall and Jason Pringle have organized a ‘King of KZ2’ karting series.
Starting next month, the series will run in conjunction with the Victorian All Star series, plus a special event on the Winton short circuit.
“The winner will be the named the 2011 King of KZ2” Lindstrom informed KartSportNews. “They will be given the crown for 12 months.”
David Sera has been nominated the defending champion due to his victory in the Horsepower Heaven series last year.
“Series Prizes will be announced in coming weeks” Lindstrom continued. “The series will have qualifying at every round and 16 lap finals at All Star rounds. Winton will be a one day event on a Saturday.”
“An up to date series point score will come out of every round with a full race report with photos. We are expecting big fields.”

- Drivers to drop their worst round for the championship crown
- There will be a Masters class at 195kg which will run in amongst the KZ2 main class. Masters will have separate trophies and point score
- The series will use Dunlop tyres as per CIK and follow full CIK KZ2 regulations
