Gerry Brookes' take and vid clip on the recent NZ Max Challenge round:

"We had a successful trip. Lane dominated Rotax Heavy and won the final convincingly. In yamaha we were fighting for the lead every race but had an engine problem in the final. It was a superb event; track was great and the entire track was presented like a golf course. Very well run, long breaks through the day so people could relax and chat with spectators etc.  Also, everyone was super friendly, people from officials to competitors. The 24 lap final was like our pro tours. All in all a great time."
