Aussie News From Florida Winter Tour

David Sera and Adrian Lazarro are in America competing at the 2nd round of the Florida Winter Tour at West Palm Beach this weekend. Deadly Dave is competing in Senior MAX (where he currently leads the points) while Lazarro is racing Junior MAX.

From David Sera: "Qualifying today: First Qualifying determines Sunday's Pre Final Start. I qualified fastest by one tenth of a second and in the 2nd Qualifying session, which is for Saturday, I finished 2nd overall by 0.004 from Indy Lights driver Jay Howard. There is only a Warm Up, Pre Final and Final left for each day.

"Adrian didn't fare so well. He had a small shunt in the opening lap of qualifying and tore his nosecone off and was given the Meatball flag. Now he will have to start deep in the field in the repercharge. In the other qualifying (Sunday) he was fastest in his session by 2 tenths, but the track improved a lot in the following group. He ended up in the high 20's i believe."
