Wall Takes Charge of Victorian All Star KZ2 Series

A star studded field of Gearbox KZ2 drivers turned out at Puckapunyal for Round 1 of the Victorian All Stars Series recently.
A fantastic display of close racing and hard fought battles were seen all weekend. CIK Stars of Karting pilots Matthew Wall (BRM-TM) and Jorden Lindstrom (DR KART-TM) battled fiercely for race wins over the weekend. Ultimately, it was Wall who came away with a commanding victory in the all important final race. The final step of the podium was filled by Lee Mitchener (DR KART-TM) who was closely followed by Jason Pringle (CRG-MAXTER).

After the first round Matthew Wall has taken charge of the leader board opening up a gap of 220 points back to Jason Pringle. Leading the Master’s class is Hamish Leighton (TONYKART-TM), who constantly put down impressive lap times with the additional 20kg’s required for the Masters division.
Many of the newer KZ2 drivers progressed very well over the weekend and look set to move further up the rankings as the series heads to Winton (Short Circuit) for round 2 on the 30th of April.
