2011 Gearbox Nationals Bigger Than Last Year

press release

Dear Members,

The Championship Registrations for the discount entry scheme has closed and we have again been supported with a huge response that will ensure 2011 will be SKA's best year yet.  We will post our up to date registered competitor list shortly.  Thank you to everyone who supports SKA and Shannons who bring the best to superkarting in the way of racing quality and value.

NSW has another race event at Eastern Creek during Easter for you to use to know the circuit before the Australian Superkart Championships in July, so consider this meet to hone skills if you haven't driven the track or have a new Kart to get the experience.

SKA is still having talks for TV and preliminary pitting arrangements are being organised now. This is a part that takes some time to sort as our Category is so large. As soon as pit and other information is finalised, SKA will make announcements and send this to the entrants. Other news bulletins will follow soon.

Remember you can still enter the Australian Superkart Championships when entries open even if you haven't taken part in registration.  I ask that you make contact as soon as possible with an SKA rep or directly email SKA via SKA-enquiry@superkart.org.au .

This Championship for Superkart Gearbox Classes will be bigger than last year and SKA will strive to bring an even better show to all Entrants, Clubs and spectators. SKA is also working on our Saturday night social dinner event at PI.  When the PI Round is closer and the venue is settled, we will send invitations.  Seating will be limited as PI will need seating for 200 people and this is a challenge for most places....

The Championship is shaping to be very exciting and I can't wait to see you all there. Watch this space as more news comes to hand....

See you at the track.

Clint Brown.
Chairman.
Superkarts Australia.
