David Whitmore Announced As Brand Ambassador for Sodi Kart

International Karting Distributors are pleased to announce that David Whitmore will be the Brand Ambassador for Sodi Kart in Australia.
With the support of IKD, David will be racing the Sodi Kart ST30 at the Rotax Nationals & remaining Rotax Pro Tour rounds. He will also provide support and technical advice to other Sodi racers.

David has a long history with Rotax racing and his many achievements include 2 appearances at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals overseas. David decided to take a break from karting at the start of the year and has been racing a Formula Ford which he will now combine with his karting. David is excited about the new venture and the new kart.
“I am really looking forward to getting back in a kart. Sodi is an energetic brand and even though they have been in Australia for a little while, they are still relatively new. I am really impressed with the chassis and can’t wait for Pro Tour 3,” David said.
“It will be good to get back to the Pro Tour - I have always really enjoyed racing a Rotax. Racing at the Rotax World Finals was an awesome experience.”
Sodi has achieved multiple podium successes in Europe and was a chassis supporter for the 2010 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final in Italy for the Junior Max class. They will again be supporting the event in 2011 for the Senior Max class.
“We know David has the skill and determination to help establish Sodi as a competitive chassis brand in the Australian market. I am really looking forward to seeing how David goes in the Sodi” Said Ian Black, Managing Director at IKD.
David will make his debut in the Sodi Kart at the Pro Tour in Port Macquarie on 29th April.
