Video of Bercy Electric Kart

Some video footage of the electric kart to be used at the Bercy Masters has been put online.

Driven by French Red Bull Junior Team driver Jean-Eric Vergne and the current Miss France, the machine sounds like an electric sewing machine on steriods!

It will be interesting to hear a field of these karts in action. Could kart tracks one day emit the whirr of a slot-car centre, but with screeching tyres? And will the lack of exhaust note mean drivers will be able to communicate with each other when racing side by side?
