Exprit's Pro Tour Report

press release

As Exprit continues to grow in Australia, the striking purple chassis is becoming a common sight at the Rotax Pro Tour.

The Exprit chassis made two appearances on the podium for round 3 of the Pro Tour with Cameron Harch in Over 35s and Michael Saller in JMax Heavy.

Rotax Heavy driver and brand ambassador William Yarwood had a cracking weekend, qualifying 2nd in both qualifying sessions - which was a challenge on its own because one qualifying session was in the rain and the other in the dry.

William then went on to take 2 of the 3 heats and started out of 2nd grid position for the final. William became tangled with 5 other karts on turn 2 and spun, reducing his position to 5th at the end of the day.

“I’m really happy with how the weekend went,” William commented. “It was our first proper meeting in the wet and when we just missed out on qualifying first I was really happy. Unfortunately I turned it around in the final and I think some minor set up changes we made didn’t really work out as we were hoping. Overall, I am happy with our result” he concluded.

James Macken in Rotax Light also had a good qualifying session, qualifying second and also coming second in 2 heats. This gave him a G3 spot in the pre-final, finishing up in 6th in the final.

Other Exprit drivers to feature in the top ten include Renee Gracie in Jmax Light who finished in 7th spot.

A surprise at the Pro Tour 3 in Port Macquarie was the appearance of the new Exprit manufacturer's team tent. The impressive 6m x 9m pit area tent will be offered to Exprit drivers on an invitational basis.
