Mitchener To Race X30 Shifter In France

Lee Mitchener is set to race the new IAME X30 Shifter class at this year's Bruno Grana Trophy event in France next month.

"I'm planning on racing the shifter, but just waiting on the guys over there to see what the entries are" the reigning Leopard Heavy national champion told KartSportNews.com.

Mitchener won the X30 Gentlemen's class last year aboard a DR Kart. "You choose the team you want to run with before you head over. I'll be choosing the Belgian DR Kart team again, which is the team I was with last year."

Queensland's John Grother was also planning to contest the X30 Shifter class, but has had to pull the pin, citing that work commitments will lead to a lack of preparation time.

New for this year's Bruno Grana is an X30 Junior class. Australian drivers who are interested in this, or either of the two senior categoroes, should contact Remo Luciani at Remo Racing - www.remoracing.com.au. Entries for the event are already open, so dont delay.

In all classes, competitors will get to choose from DR, Alpha, Tecno or Zanardi chassis that are supplied for the event.

IAME press releases below detail the costs and inclusions for 'arrive and drive' deals.
