High-class WSK karting on TV. The two series kicking off the international karting in 2011 are halfway through the season. Both WSK Master Series and WSK Euro Series are getting ready for the last two rounds before the end of the relative calendars and they are already a huge success as for the appearance on television. The scenes of the past 5 events enjoyed a big media support mainly thanks to the live coverage on Rai Sport. A large presence of videos was registered on the web, which not only contributed to broadcast live coverage worldwide but also enriched it with the whole Sunday final phase.

53 hours of WSK on TV. With 53 hours of broadcasting overall, the WSK events set already a record in 2011. Mid-season figures show 4 hours of live broadcast on Rai Sport 1 to be added to further 4 hours and 30’ of programmes always by Rai. Again, the WSK events establish themselves as a subject of great interest to the countries hosting them, judging by the exposure given to the event in Portimao by the Portuguese networks such as Sport TV 2 and Localvisão TV. Moreover, it is interesting to point out that Sky is joining the channels covering the WSK events this year.

Live and rerun on Stop&Go. Web channels give a very important support. The trade website www.stopandgo.tv cooperates with the TV coverage in streaming live as from Sunday Pre-finals. The same videos are rerun non-stop in the following days. For instance, the races of the WSK Master Series in Val Vibrata are repeated on Stop&Go for 17 times in 24 hours, for a total of 22 hours of broadcasting a day. A tool therefore, to see the conclusive races of the WSK events on demand.

Live from the next events. Live coverage of the next WSK events has already been fixed. The Finals in Siena, consisting in the last but one round of the WSK Master Series, will be brought live Sunday, June 5, from 03:00 p.m. to 04:30 p.m. on Rai Sport 2 from the circuit in Castelnuovo Berardenga.
