Photos From U18/Academy Test Day

As reported the other day, a preliminary test was run at Jesolo (Italy) for drivers competing in the upcoming U18 World Championship and Karting Academy.

Half of the 15 to 18 year-old drivers entered attended and enjoyed a full day of sunshine as they became familiar with their new equipment. A full entry list is HERE (Aussie Aiden Wright will race with #99 on his Zanardi kart).

The day prior, the Academy Trophy Drivers were allocated their Parolin chassis for the season by drawing lots, then spent the day installing their seat, bodywork decoration, fitting tyres and filling their fuel tanks with the E10 petrol supplied by Panta.

The U18 World Championship Drivers received their chassis of the make with which they have entered, plus their WKE engine by drawing lots.
