Nash Bros. To Sponsor WA Championships

AKA press release

Karting WA and the Albany City Kart Club have announced that one of Western Australia’s leading mining and civil equipment rental businesses, Nash Bros., will be the naming rights sponsor for the 2011 Western Australian State Championships.

The 2011 championships, which will be the 50th running of the event in Western Australia, will be hosted by the Albany City Kart Club on October 7-9.

Nash Bros. Managing Director Phil Nash is a kart racer himself and is looking forward to an exciting event in October.

“The Albany Kart Club always put on a great show and I’m delighted that we’ve been able to join with them for what is set to be one of their biggest events of all-time,” said Nash.

Albany City Kart Club Vice-President Baz Evans welcomed Nash Bros. on board as the naming rights sponsor.

“Phil and his family have been big supporters of kart racing in this state over the past few years and we’re delighted to have Nash Bros. join as the naming rights sponsor for the state championships,” said Evans.

“Over the next few months many of our club members will be working tirelessly to ensure we are fully prepared and now we can also count on using some great equipment from Nash Bros. to make these jobs easier.

“Already we’ve had a number of enquires from all across the state regarding the championships and they are shaping up to be huge. As the date comes closer there will certainly be a big buzz around the region for the Nash Bros. Western Australian Sprint Kart Championships.”

The Nash Bros. Western Australian Sprint Kart Championships will be hosted by the Albany City Kart Club on the second weekend in October (October 7-9).
