"We had drivers running in karts and cars in several different series," comments David Tennyson of the Sofina Foods Driver Development Program. "Nicholas, Austin, Garett and Daniel all showed well for the program."

Both Latifi and Milwain had up and down weekends as weather played a big factor in the race weekend. Latifi was able to grab a pair of top tens including a third place finish in the 22-kart Rotax DD2 field while Milwain recovered from contact on Saturday to score a top ten on Sunday in the 31-kart Rotax Senior Max field. Over on the big track Grist kept his string of poles going taking the top position on both days in Ontario Formula Ford Challenge action. Racing action was a bit tougher for the rookie driver in the 20-car field as he finished fourth on Saturday in the wet and then a DNF on Sunday due to an electrical gremlin. For Morad racing the street circuit of Valencia, Spain, the fourth-year open wheel racer took 15th on Saturday in the 30-car field then suffered a DNF from first lap contact in the Sunday race.

The Sofina Foods Driver Development Team will see action of the coming weeks. Morad will be in action at the renovated Sliverstone Circuit in England for the upcoming GP3 Series event on July 8-10. Grist heads to Shannonville Raceway near Bowmanville, Ontario for rounds five and six of OFFC on July 15-17. Latifi and Milwain head to Circuit Mont Tremblant in Quebec for the final round of ECKC on July 15-17. The Sofina Foods Driver Development program is proud to support Canadian drivers reaching the international stage and will make announcements on their 2011 program in the coming months.
