Arrow Has Bare Options With X1-E

Arrow Racing Karts have announced two further variations of the highly successful X1-E chassis range. The current X1-E is a chassis made of 30/30mm tube and Melbourne based firm will shortly have the design available in both a 30/32mm configuration, plus 32/32mm version.

"The various tubing size options may sound complicated" the company said in a statement. "Considering there are as many as nine different 125cc classes, TaG 125 – Leopard – Rotax-KF1/3 plus various weight divisions, across four different tyre compounds (MG Red, MG Yellow, Mojo and Dunlop CIK) the 125 classes clearly have the widest variation and therefore offer the greatest challenge when it comes to always having the most competitive chassis"

"All our other kart models have been developed to suit a small number of classes, so for one spec of chassis to be competitive across such a wide range is a big challenge.

"To better deal with this wide range, we have decided to utilise the same proven and successful chassis design but in different tubing sizes."

Both the 30/32 and 32/32 versions of the kart, plus a bare chassis option, will be sold on a “Made to Order” basis.

"Due to the small volume and therefore additional costs involved, we regret to advise these must be priced higher than the standard chassis & kart. In addition, there will be a minimum of a 3 week lead time from time of order being placed."
