New Grid Cover At Todd Road

The Go Kart Club of Victoria's Todd Road circuit will have a new look when competitors front for the annual City of Melbourne Titles on August 13-14.

A new out-grid cover has been installed to provide shelter and protection for karters and officials as they prepare for each event.

Construction started a couple of weeks ago and is now essentially complete. "We were very conscious of getting it done for the City of Melbourne Titles" club President John Wall told KartSportNews. "There's just a bit of plumbing to finish, but otherwise it's done and will keep everyone dry."

The CoM is a popular and toughly fought annual event run by the GKCV. Entries for class formation (minimum of 10 are required, maximum 36) close on Monday night, August 8.

A link to the Supp Regs for the event - including classes, entry details, timetable, race format etc - can be found on the KartSportNews Race Calendar page.
