Dunlop, Yamaha & MG Tyres To Present NSW Championships

The North Shore Kart Club has confirmed Dunlop Kartsport, Yamaha and MG tyres as presenting partners for this weekend’s New South Wales State Karting Championships.
The event, to be hosted by the North Shore Kart Club at Newcastle, is set to be one of the largest events on the Australian karting calendar this year with in excess of 330 entries having been received across the 15 categories.
North Shore Kart Club President Peter Galvin is delighted to have the three long standing businesses in the karting fraternity support this year’s championships.
“These three companies have once again gone far and above their commitment to the sport by backing the championships to ensure they are a success for everyone involved,” said Galvin.
“With us being forced to move the event from Eastern Creek to Newcastle the past few months haven’t been easy for anyone involved and I’d like to thank all of our sponsors, and the Newcastle Club, for their continued support in these tough times.”
Practice for the event, which is being hosted by the North Shore Kart Club at the Newcastle circuit, begins this Wednesday ahead of qualifying on Friday. The heat races will be contested on Saturday (October 1) followed by the championship finals on Sunday (October 2).
The Mt Sugarloaf Raceway is located on the corner of Cameron Park Drive and George Booth Drive, Cameron Park (just outside of Newcastle).
The New South Wales State Championships will be proudly presented by the Yamaha Motor Company Australia, Dunlop Kartsport and MG Tyres.
