2011 Masters Games

The Masters Games karting event was held very successfully over the weekend just gone at the Barossa Gokart Club's track at Nuriootpa here in SA.

The local SA entrants were joined by drivers from all the eastern states as well as the NT. The most senior driver in attendance was Brian Rayner at a spritely 68. Racing was conducted over 23 different age/class divisions.

A couple of ladies participated, Natalia Trebilcock from Columbia, and Candice Dillon, wife of Sprintcar speedway star Luke Dillon.

Overall, it was an awesome weekend that was not even dampened by the huge rain shower that struck right before the start of the finals.
