Team Adrenaline's River City Titles Report

Team Adrenaline Kart Sport has completed the annual River City Titles with immense success giving the entire group much confidence with the impending SA Open Championships in November.

In the ultra competitive Clubman Light category, Alex Baker showed a true fight in a field that contained much fancied opposition. From the outset, Baker managed to take eventual winner Rocco Ventra to the limits with Alex eventually claiming 2nd in his DR/Pro Karting prepared entry. Andrew Cash managed to blitz the Clubman Heavy field from the beginning of the weekend. His pace proved that he was ready to encounter any challenges faced, and he did exactly that claiming the category win in his DR/Pro Karting Kart. Also in Clubman Heavy, Leigh Cocker proved strong following a mechanical drama to surge through to 3rd by the end in his brand new Arrow prepared out of the Piper Engine stable.

David Brewer Snr again showed more promising pace in the Clubman over 40’s category, gaining another podium for the Team Adrenaline Kart Sport outfit. Despite losing a plug lead and dropping in times by 18 seconds, Brewer managed to claw back 10 seconds on his opposition and return a 3rd place result overall. Aaron Wilamowski also showed determination as he was faced with multiple hurdles in the debut meeting for his DR/Pro Karting Rotax, primarily being a snapped throttle cable, but his will to succeed pushed Wilamowski from last to 3rd in the Sportsman 125 Light category.

Simon Buch was in contention for more strong results in his DR/Leopard racing amongst the Restricted 125 Heavy category. In challenging for the lead, Buch was unfortunately held up by slower moving Karts, however he still managed to claim 3rd in the class.

In a standout drive amongst the Team Adrenaline group, Daniel Price on debut in the J&A prepared Leopard DR chassis took to the Sportsman 125 Light field with ease. Battling through changing weather conditions, Price managed to claim convincing wins in all events except the opening heat that saw some treacherous rain cover the Monarto Go-Kart complex, where an intense battle ensued, however this has prepared Daniel well for the upcoming major Karting events.

Team Adrenaline Kart Sport Team Principal David Brewer added, “the preparation and persistence of the entire team has paid off, and it has set us up superbly for the SA Open next month. I am just overwhelmed with our results, contesting 6 different classes, with 10 drivers, 7 podium results and 2 outright wins, the whole team should be congratulated.”
