With the final event of the year being held at the Newcastle Go-Kart track, the scene of his last round win at the previous round, Jake was confident heading into the meeting of a strong result. Klarich showed speed right throughout the meeting, consistently setting times that had him inside the top 3. Despite this, an unfortunate tangle in the final saw Jake have a DNF, however the points acquired across the season ensured he remained 3rd outright.

Klarich stated following the meeting, “ the team and I have worked real hard this year and it has paid off with two round wins, and now a third place overall in the championship so we are stoked with the result.”

For Klarich, it is now preparation ahead of the 2012 CIK Stars of Karting Series where the team will look to contest the Pro Light KF1 Category, in the chase for the James Courtney Trophy.

Jake added, “next year we will be running the senior category, KF1 and hopefully again in the hunt for the championship.”

Jake stated, “The Lenzo kart has been phenomenal this year thank you to Lenzo kart Australia and the Klarich Racing Team. We will be looking to race with the Lenzo kart factory team in Italy next year.”

Jake concluded by saying, “this year wouldn’t be possible without the help of our sponsors, Super Rooster, MI Construct, Condo Cartage, Bowra Signs and A & R Klarich Transport and Earthmoving.”
