press release

With the Indy Karting Classic fast approaching, exciting announcements will begin to hit media outlets about the much anticipated inaugural event. With multiple pro drivers already confirmed for karting action, Indy Karting Classic officials are pleased to announce that the IAME Parilla X30 supplied by Florida's TS Racing will be the official engine for the Stars division.

While karting competitors will have the chance to race in their respective classes inside the Conseco Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, pro drivers from NASCAR and INDYCAR will go head to head in a battle royale for the ultimate in bragging rights. With multiple chassis manufacturers on board, the IAME Parilla X30 motor will be supplied to each and every pro driver on event day.

"We are extremely happy to have TS Racing on board as a partner for the event as they will supply all the pro drivers with engine packages," stated Race Promoter Bill McLaughlin. "As a true TaG motor, the complete engine comes with everything you need in a motor package to hit the track."

In 2012, the Parilla X30 will be seen in the World Karting Association Gold Cup program as the first two-cycle engine in a four-cycle series. With no blue printing or updates required, the X30 runs on a self-charging battery system, eliminating the recharge process between races. Based on a low emissions and low cost standard, the X30 is economical, reliable, affordable and unique in many ways. Taking the tuning and expertise out of the equation, the emphasis will be based on driver and chassis setup to have the chance at victory.

With the one-day event taking place on Sunday, December 11, 2011, the jam packed day will feature a full slate of practice, qualifying, heat races and main events. With a small entry fee that includes an indoor pit space, oil, fuel and a set of tires, karters will have the opportunity to display their skills in front of a large crowd.
