New Business Partnership For KAOS Karting

press release

Queensland’s major kart retailer KAOS Karting celebrated it’s estimated 30th anniversary this year and has welcomed new partners into the business in a joint venture that has doubled the store’s manpower.

The family-run business has been joined by a new family, the Crossingham’s, and collectively the team will aim to deliver exceptional customer service and support for all karters from sporting newcomers to racers at the highest level.

Joining long-time karting identity Pete Crossingham in the business is his wife Lynda, formerly of a banking background and 16-year old Josh, who has himself karted since he was a midget racer.

The new partnership will again revitalise the small but progressive business and strengthen customer service and business offerings even further and enable future expansion of the business and allow current primary owner, Ken Bensley, the time to work on strategic events and alliances.

A main focus of 2012 will be a greater involvement in club level racing through to state and special racing events support, such as the Rotax Pro Tour and CIK Stars of Karting.

“We are simply stoked to have the Crossingham’s join us to provide extra expertise, enthusiasm and manpower to our busy retail store and important trackside support services,” said Ken Bensley.

“We are looking forward to working hard with our local tracks to encourage newcomers to the sport and to give them the best introduction and karting experience possible. Having 7 capable staff members to support our service and kart programs is a major bonus to KAOS.”

“2011 was an amazing year for KAOS with fantastic results on all tracks that our customers took to.  We ensure our friendly yet technical approach to karting delivers results from club day racing to club championships right through to having the number one Rotax Light and Heavy drivers in the Country and Australian Pro Gearbox champ. That’s a lot of depth in racing.”

“We also have an excellent Junior track record, with our Cadets, Rookie’s and Junior racers undoubtedly being the karting stars of the future.”

Pete Crossingham said, “I’ve worked with KAOS over the past few years and in this region they do a fantastic job and are such an important part of the karting community providing support and sponsorship to the local clubs and helping out an amazing number of karting customers.  It’s fantastic that we are able to come onboard and join forces to a business involved in a sport that we are passionate about and have been so heavily involved in over an extended period of time.”

“Like Ken, we believe karting should be about achieving the very best results and having a great time doing it.”

Ken Bensley will maintain his involvement in KAOS Karting but will be freed up from the day-to-day operation of the business to concentrate on major events, driver training programs and Intrepid Australia.

KAOS Karting provides a diverse range of services for customers throughout Australia including a fully stocked online webshop with over 3,000 products and fast dispatch and overnight* delivery.
