Taking on the Mini Rok class the first weekend, and then trying his hand at both the Rotax Micro Max and Rotax Mini Max classes the second, Serravalle will certainly be a threat for wins and championships. The young gun proved he was a top contender in the Mini Rok class, showing great speed in his first European event at the Rok Cup in Lonato, Italy back in October as one of the youngest competitors on the grid. Serravalle mastered the Canadian karting season, where he earned the 2011 Eastern Canadian Karting Championship (ECKC) and ASN Canada FIA Canadian National Championship titles in the Micro Max class.

"At the age of eight, Antonio was the only young driver in Canada to win all 12 of 12 regional races in 2011 in the Micro Max class in the ECKC and Coupe du Quebec series and the Canadian Nationals," noted Pserra team principle Peter Serravalle. "I think that he is maturing as a racing driver and he just keeps getting faster and faster."

Showing his strength against international competitors as well, Serravalle was also strong in Pan American Challenge events, finishing first and second at the Homestead qualifying rounds and winning all three heat races at the finale event in New Castle. At his final event in 2011, Serravalle struggled initially at the SKUSA SuperNationals, until the discovery of a broken wire harness unleashed his prowess. Relegated to the LCQ, Serravalle rocketed to the top with his repaired kart and scored the win to transfer to the main event. There, starting in 32nd place, the Tecno pilot worked his way to 11th in just five laps!

"Even though Antonio will try two classes on the Rotax weekend, I feel that he can race with the older racers and gain experience," continued Peter Serravalle. "Now at nine years of age, it allows him to race both classes, and he has the maturity and speed to run at the front."

Contesting the Rotax Senior class on the second weekend will be two-time world champion Caleb Williams. The South African pilot will take on one of the toughest Rotax Senior fields at the Florida Winter Tour aboard a Tecno chassis with a Pserra Racing prepared Rotax engine.

"I'm really excited to have Caleb come race with us," continued Serravalle. "His talent caught my eye in La Conca at the 2010 World Finals when he started 32nd and won. Caleb is also very excited to come to America for the first time and race the FWT against the best drivers in Senior Max."

Rounding out the Pserra Racing driver line-up is veteran karter Ryan Horses. Taking on the Rotax DD2 Masters class, Horses is always a threat for the top position and the FWT is sure to be no different. The multi-time karting champion will look to secure the DD2 Masters championship and earn a place on Team Canada for the Rotax World Finals.

Pserra Racing will also be renting out race-prepped Mini Rok and shifter KZ engines for the first weekend of the Florida Winter Tour as well as Pserra-prepared Rotax engines for the second weekend. Interested parties are asked to call 1.877.880.6455 to reserve their engines today. Pserra Racing is also proud to announce a new line of MIR race wear is now available.
