Above: Rookie driver Rheece Zacharis (flanked by Arrow Marketing Manager Steve Johnson and Oakleigh club President Adam Bourke) was the lucky winner of the new Arrow chassis that was randomly drawn at the end of the night. There were prizes galore handed out at presentation. Leonardo Lobianco won a Yamaha engine, Thomas Randle, Jai Sparey, Jack Bentley, Justin Carless and Leigh Johnson-Crowley all won sets of tyres while Tristan Gledhill (Sparco Helmet) and Matthew Steel (Alfano) were also major product winners.

Above: Damon Strongman was the standout performer at Junior Top Guns 2012, winning the series in two classes (Junior Clubman, above, and Junior National Heavy) and taking third in another (Junior National Light).
He and Thomas Randle drove well clear of the field for a convincing win in the Junior Clubman final. National champ Jesse Elliot was lucky not to roll when he got up on two wheels from the canteen left-hander all the way to pit corner!

Above: Dylan O'Keeffe's first ever kart race meeting was somewhat remarkable. Competing in Junior National Heavy C&P, and having only done a handful of practice days, O'Keeffe qualified fastest in the 14-kart field (with a time that would have put him 2nd in JNH!). Of course, being a p-plater, he had to start up the back. A transponder issue meant no qualifying time for night 2, but he still pulled a 5th and 8th from the two races. James Sera, who was helping the newbie on the night, said Dylan is super calm and doesnt get fussed about the whole deal. One to watch for the future?
