Four-Stroke Shifters In Germany
TweetWe received an email from a group of karters in Germany recently. The group has organised their own category and race series for shifter karts with any 4-stoke engine, providing it has less than 100 horsepower.

Running at five race days a year, the karts are a traditional 'shifter' chassis running on 6" rims, and the ones shown here are fitted with a 650cc Suzuki engine that punches out 72hp through a 6-speed gearbox. The package is good for 220kmh (140mph) and 0-100kmh in under 3 seconds!
This is Germany´s most powerful 4-stroke karting series and celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2012.
