More Brands Entering U18 World Championship

The 2012 'Under 18' World Championship will see additional brands of kart competing.

While entries are still open, the FIA-CIK has already received entries from Zanardi, Sodi, Mach1, MS Kart, Righetti Ridolfi, Swiss Hutless, Top Kart and Tecno - all of which have been part of the series since it started in 2010.

Birel, FK, DR and ART Grand Prix are entered brands which will compete in the U18 for the first time this year.

Launched in 2010, the U18 World championship attracted 13 makes and 71 drivers in its first year, then 15 brands and 89 drivers in 2011.
