DR Kart Dominates In the West

DR karts have started the Australian season in fantastic fashion with Simon Gwilliam dominating the first round of the WA KZ2 series.
Driving the DR kart/Ace Karting entry, Simon qualified pole ahead of a star studded field including resent Dash For Cash winner Daniel Curry. Another DR Kart pilot, Jared Bishop, qualified his DR Kart/M92 on the second row of the grid in 4th position.

Both drivers were consistent in the first two heats which included a DR Kart 1st and 2nd in heat 2. Unfortunately for Jared, he would have engine problems in heat 3 and would no longer take part in the meeting.
The final saw Simon get away from the line well and move his was to the front. By lap 15 he was lapping back markers. Simon crossed the line well clear of 2nd position and showed that he is a top contender for taking out the WA KZ series
