In the words of ekartingnews, David Sera "drops bomb on Senior" MAX at the Gatorz Challenge of the Americas in Phoenix on Saturday. It's the second week of racing in the USA for Sera, who finished second at the Homestead Florida Winter Tour round last weekend.

On Day 1 in Phoenix, Dave (Arrow) qualified 3rd fastest in Senior Rotax behind hometown driver Phil DeLaO (Top Kart) and Nick Rivellini (CRG). After an initial battle in the opening laps, the Aussie drove away for a 2 second win in the pre-final. Starting pole, he was never challenged on the way to an emphatic victory in the 25 lap final.
