SUMMARY FROM FEB 21 NKC TELECONFERENCE

The purpose of this memo is to circulate the outcomes and discussion items from the recent National Karting Council Teleconference. It has specifically been distributed in dot point to enable interested parties to quickly peruse the outcomes.

Further information will be available through your Club and State bodies.

  • The detailed proposal regarding the purchase of a suitable property for the AKA National Office has been circulated. No decision has been made and States have been asked to review the documents.
  • The Governance Committee presented the model with some minor amendments for consideration. This will be circulated to all states for perusal before a vote will be held in the near future. The date for this will be advised. The governance project is currently running ahead of schedule, which is very pleasing.
  • An AKA communication policy has been adopted outlining desired response times depending on priorities placed on the item.
  • The X30 technical documents have been updated to include the AKA airbox, Socoremm and Righetti Rodolfi as per the regulations in the RL125 technical documents.
  • Natsoft have been given approval to display AKA results on a trial basis in return for advertising on their web site.
  • The track density for Come and Try Days has been increased.
