Competitors looking to compete in the 2012 CIK Stars of Karting Series presented by Castrol EDGE now have an extra bonus to make their debut at the top level of karting in Australia.
For the remaining rounds of 2012, all debutants in the Pro categories will receive a free set of Dunlop tyres (RRP $308) for use during their debut round courtesy of Dunlop Kartsport and Series Organisers.
“As a series we’re continually trying to raise the bar in professionalism in Australian karting while providing competitors with the opportunity at a cost-effective elite level,” said Series Representative Lee Hanatschek.
“We’ve found that once people experience being a part of the series they thoroughly enjoy not only the racing but also the professionalism and the lessons they learn off the circuit to further develop themselves and their careers.”
Television broadcast confirmed for the final round
In other news, following on from last year’s return to television for the sport of karting, Series Organisers have confirmed that the final round of the series will once again be televised across Australia later this year. Further information on the format and broadcaster for this telecast will be announced over the coming months.
