Coffs Harbour Preps For Over 40s Titles
TweetChanges are in full swing at the Coffs Harbour Kart Club, which will host the annual Over 40s Titles on June 8 to 10.
Firstly, the club has a new website - www.coffskart.com - with club and event information, news, contacts etc.
Secondly, work continues on the track extension and the In and Out grids. The grid works, plus canteen extension, will all be done and in use for the Over 40s. However, things aren't so clear cut on the track itself.
"At this stage it is touch and go to have the new track ready for the Over Forties" Club President Troy Brown informed KartSportNews.
"We are trying really hard to have it done, but three months of constant rain hasn’t helped. But as per usual, we like a challenge and we will have the place up to pristine condition ready for the Over 40s".
The 'new' track will be 902m long and 7m wide. "The extension also gives us some flexibility in configuarations with at least 6 different circuits we could run on" he added.
Entries for the Over 40s Titles close tomorrow, Friday May 18. Supp Regs can be found on the Race Calendar page. The club plays host to the NSW State Championships in September.
