Unique Format For Townsville Enduro

The Townsville Enduro on June 16 could be won by the slowest kart in the field.

Unlike a traditional scratch race enduro, participants will be required to nominate a lap time and the winner will end up being the competitor who can stay closest to that time throughout the race, without beating it.

The nominated time will be used to calculate when each driver will actually start the race. Nominating a slow lap time (which means new tyres and fresh engine for this event will make no difference to your competitiveness!) means you'll start before the faster karts, and in theory, if everyone does their nominated time, they'll all reach the finish at the same time. However, run a lap quicker than the nominated time, and it simply won't count.
