Round 3 of the Victorian Country Series was held at Wimmera Go-Kart Club late last month. Many Mount Gambier drivers participated in this with some great results achieved.
- Junior National Light - 1st place Morgan Feast, continues to impress with some great racing
- Rookies - 3rd place Kirby Hillyer who has been achieving good results both at home and away.
- John Dankowski (pictured, right) took out Clubman Super Heavy adding to his bevvy of awards
- Glen Henley came in second for Clubman Over 40’s and Junior National Heavy fourth place was Mitchell Broome.
JUNE CLUB DAY, held 03/06/2012
The wet weather gear came out on the weekend for the keen karters at the Mount Gambier Karting Club. A bigger than expected field took to the track and after a few mishaps in warm up with drivers getting accustomed to the water on the track, racing started with mixed results.
