Ben Stewart Returns To Arrow

Gold Coast karter Ben Stewart has returned to driving Arrow. The prominent Clubman Light and Leopard Light racer announced his move back to the Australian kart today.

Ben, who started his karting career aboard Arrow in 2003, enjoyed a successful three year stint with Kosmic and recently took out the Leopard Light state championship a couple of weeks ago in Darwin.

His first outing in the new Arrow X2 CIK kart will be at the CIK Stars Of Karting event at Eastern Creek in a week's time where he will compete in Leopard Light. Ben will then race Clubman Light at the prestigious City Of Melbourne Titles aboard his new X2 -28 chassis.

"I am extremely excited about the move back to Arrow" Ben said. "It feels a bit like a homecoming, returning to the brand I started my career with nine years ago.

"The brand is really back on the map after a complete restructure and with all the positive changes made, I have complete confidence in success with the team at Arrow and the new X2 Kart.

"The change of brands was made easier by Jon Targett and Dale Verrall, with both expressing full confidence in the X2 and believing the switch to Arrow is the perfect move for me at this stage of my career.

"The decision was finalised after completing a successful test day aboard the X2 CIK kart. I have never driven a kart that has been so easy to drive and work with mechanically. I will be using the new X2 karts in both Leopard & Clubman, and with the support from Arrow Racing Karts, Pacific Kartsport, JT Motorsport & KTEQ Rentals, our expectations are very high."

DPE’s Steve Johnson expressed his excitement to get a driver of Ben’s quality back behind the wheel of an Arrow.

"Ben has been on our radar for some time now and we are just thrilled that he has seen all the hard work everyone at Arrow has put into the X2" Johnson stated.

"We fully believe the combination of Ben & Arrow will be a great success."
