Verstappen Switches To Zanardi

Max Verstappen has switched to the Chiese Corse team to run Zanardi chassis for the rest of 2012.

The Dutch driver raced with CRG for several years before moving to Intrepid where on the weekend he won (under appeal) the European KF2 Championship.

"Dino Chiesa, Chiesa Corse team boss, I have known for years," said Max's father, Jos. "Last year we were in conversation with him about Max. It is a stable team, it's good for each other."

Max will test the Zanardi chassis and Parilla engine combination at Lonato later this week before taking in his first race with the team at the WSK Euro Series round in Spain the following week.
